A Biblical Deep Dive In This Last Hour

We have some of the verses, I think, on screen, but we're going to be looking at uh 1 Timothy. I think now that we have laid out over the last couple of weeks things concerning the Antichrist, the and the false prophet, and the beast, I think that now we need to uh kind of circle in and on to where we are in America, in the world on planet Earth, where we are specifically. And we have two places in the book of Timothy where God shows us what it would be like in the last hour. So I entitled this sermon, Without Much Creativity, What God Has Said About This Hour, because it's no longer the last hour, it is actually this hour that we are in, you know. And we have uh we have uh just seen this so dramatically all envelop and take place right in front of our eyes, amen. So we're gonna start with uh a deep dive into what God said about this hour that we're in, and we're gonna start with First Timothy chapter four, verses one through five. And I'm gonna read it with to you guys, and if you want to turn there in your Bible, you can turn there. It says in First Timothy four, one through five, it says, now the spirit speaketh expressly that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith. How by giving heed to seducing spirits. Say seducing, seducing spirits and doctrines of devils. Can you say doctrines? Doctrines of devils. Now we heard this term cliche isly, but I want us to imagine actual devils bringing doctrine to the world. It says doctrines of devils, seducing spirits. It says speaking lies in hypocrisy, having their conscience seared with a hot iron. We talked about before what this means to have your conscience seared. Uh we you have the if you look at the analogy of searing a steak, and when you have a steak, you're cooking a steak, uh, especially on a frying pan or even on a grill, what you want to do is you want to sear it on each side. Why? Because when you sear it, you crisp it up so that all of the juice inside stays in. So when someone's conscience is seared, it's so that all that devil juice could be locked in their mind, amen. And so they they they're just full of demonic lies and and spirits and and and and and inclinations, and it's seared in there, amen. So that it can't get out, and you know, so it says that they are speaking lies and hypocrisy because their conscience has been seared with a hot iron, forbidding to marry and commanding to abstain from meats, which God has created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. For every creature of God is good. And he's specifically talking about this in the last days, in the last times, in the latter times or the time that we're in. It's interesting, it's interesting because these are actual now issues that are on the modern day agenda of our governments. So it's interesting that God here is saying, No, every creature is good to eat and not to be refused. So God had designed meats to be eaten by humans. Now it's interesting that through we're we're finding more and more now that through uh the dietary things that we have, the water that we drink, the chemicals that we ingest and receive, that our IQ is affected, our uh testosterone is affected, our uh will to resist, to be resilient, to have an opinion, to stand on our opinion, all of these things are impacted and affected by our diet. And God is saying here that it is good to eat meat, that all meat is good. It's interesting that why God would have to say this concerning the last days, and it says here, for all meat is good. Now, a lot of people have always thought that this maybe had to deal with Islamic influence, Islamic saying don't eat pork, or Jews saying don't eat pork, but we're seeing very clearly now through the Western world, the uh push in the move, what we'll talk about it here soon, to stop people from eating meat. Isn't it funny that uh that the vegans and a lot of the vegetarian world is so full of new agers? You've noticed that that the vegan and vegetarian world is there for some reason there's a tendency that majority of them tend to be non-believing spiritist in the occult in the new age and magic. It's interesting because there's something tied to that diet, right? So for every creature of God is good and nothing to be refused if it be received with thanksgiving, for it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer. Let's take a look at this word seducing spirits here. Amen. And we'll go up to go up before here, and let's just look at this word here. This word expressly, ritos, expressly means in plain stated terms. The Holy Spirit's not hinting, he's speaking very directly to what is going on in our society right now. Expressly means exactly specifically of what is gonna happen in the hour that we are in. So, what Paul records here is not a speculation, but apostolic revelation about the conditions that would characterize the final age of the church. That is very interesting. Amen. Let's look at word this word seducing spirits. We're gonna go with the first one. The spirit speaks specifically exactly what we are dealing with in this time. And the first thing that it says is that in the latter time some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits. This word seducing in the Greek spirits is pneumas and then as planos, planos. And now my Greek pronunciation is not very great, but that's okay because now in this church I don't have Greeks to correct me. Our old church, we had Greeks that would sit in the front row and correct everything I said in Greek, amen. But this word of planos comes from planoi, meaning to meaning to cause people to wander. To cause people to wander. So in the last day, there'll be this the seducing spirits, spirits that cause people to wander. It means in the Greek to lead astray. Say lead, lead astray or to deceive. This is the same root word used for wandering stars in in Jude chapter 1, verse 13, when it says wandering stars. It carries the idea of something that actively misleads, intentionally misleads, not passively false, not just thereof, but intentionally misleading. When I taught you guys and I teach about what is a false prophet, uh I a false prophet is not someone who prophesies out of their own imagination or prophesies out of what they want for you. That's not a false prophet. That is just uh uh a prophet that doesn't have a good experience or they missed it, they made a mistake, whatever. They're trying their best. A false prophet is someone who is intentionally trying to deceive you, right? They're intentionally trying to take your offering, they're intentionally trying to seduce you uh sexually, they're intentionally trying to uh uh promote their brand and build up their their kingdom, right? That's a false prophet. Intentionally trying to bring deception for whatever reason, that's a false prophet. So we see in the same concept here with the seducing spirits that they're intentional on their seduction. The Greek here strongly implies they're intelligent and they're purposeful deceiving agents. So it's not just bad ideas and just stupid people on YouTube that don't know what they're talking about, but it's saying that there is this deception is purposeful, intelligent, deceiving agents. In other words, entities presenting themselves as guides or enlighteners, entities presenting themselves as guides or enlighteners that would that would fit into this word seducing spirits. Entities, all right, and what are they going to bring? They're going to bring doctrines of devils. This word doctrines of devils in the Greek is Didi Skalias Diomonion. So this di scalas, and I'm saying I'm pronouncing it wrong, anyways, it means systematic teaching, a curriculum, not just scattered lies, but systematic teaching or a curriculum. And diamond is in the Greek culture referred to these intermediary spirit beings. Intermediary spirit beings, say spirit beings, neither fully divine nor fully human. They were intermediate. This is what the Greek culture referred to as these demons, not fully human, not fully man, these in-between beings, these hybrid species. We spoke about in the over the last couple weeks about how where Jesus came and he gave a revelation to who he was and said, Upon this revelation, I'm going to build my church. And he did that at Mount Hermon, which was this place that the angels who left not their who left their first estate came down and they created these hybrid beings, where we get Greek mythologies, we get Zeus and all these hybrid beings. This is who the Greeks, how they referred to the diamonds these demons were half, they were hybrid beings, half human, half uh divine entities. So this is talking about doctrines of devils or doctrines of these intermediate beings, these humanoid type beings. Now, interestingly enough, the Greek thought daemons were often considered messengers between two worlds. Diamons were often thought as messengers between two worlds. Now, this gets interesting when you begin to look at what's happening in the world. It started several years ago. Well, I mean, really, it started with Alistair Crowley when he was channeling spirits, and one of them, his main spirit guide was what today is called an alien. His main spirit guide is what is today called a gray. And grays are something that people didn't really hear of up until this year. Most majority of culture, pop culture, and the and the masses of Americans and people in the West never heard of grays unless they were studying uh studying the occults much, or they were into UFO phenomena. But now with the UFO disclosures, everybody on the news, congressmen, senators, CSNBC, MBC, CNN, every news outlet, podcasters, everybody's talking about the different types of grays and these encounters with these grays. So now what was just Alistair Crowley's intermediate being that was a messenger to him to give him uh what their what their doctrine, what the curriculum is, what their beliefs were for society and for the world, they are now coming center stage in this time. And this is what the the Greeks considered them as messengers between two worlds. These were the demons or the diamonds, these intermediate beings, these hybrid beings, neither divine nor human. So this isn't a random deception that we're seeing in Timothy. The Greeks suggest an organized doctrinal system originating from entities that will come into play and into manifestation in this hour that we are in now. The Bible says in Revelation, if you if you look at in Revelation, it talks about that at certain times certain spirits were released into the earth. We looked at that last week, that there was uh frogs that came out of the mouth of the beast, frogs that came out of the mouth of the false prophet, frogs that came out of the mouth of the of the of the dragon. There were three different frogs, and I let's just summary all actually talk what they were. I forgot what they were, but I one of them was media. I remember he said one of them was media, television, and so forth. That's one of the one of the demonic powers. But we see that certain demons are released into the world during certain seasons because they are held back by laws that God had governed in agreements that God had created in eternity past. This is why when Jesus came and they were about to exercise an evil spirit, the evil spirit said, I know who you are. Have you come to cast us out before our time? Do you recall that? Do you remember that? They said, Have you come to cast us out before our time? Jesus didn't say you're a liar. He acknowledged that they had a time to rule on the earth, but they didn't understand you know how this was all going to play out, right? So they were confused. Why are they being cast out when it's not their time? Their time, we see in the book of Revelation, and we talked about last week, their time is when the culmination of all these things come to pass in this final hour that we're in. There's the seven-year peace treaty, there's a breaking of that seven-year in the middle of three and a half years, there's a world war that comes up, uh comes all into the middle in the Middle East. The beast makes people take a mark, they can't buy or sell without the mark. And at that point, when we get to the seventh year, the Lord returns and destroys the wicked. That is the time where Satan and his angels are taken and they're bound into the abyss for a thousand years, the Bible says. That's their time. So 2,000 years ago, the demons are like, What are you doing here now? It's not our time. Okay? So there are times set by God where certain things are to happen. And there are times we see in Revelation where certain demons are released. I talked about a few weeks ago, dispensations. Remember, I talked about dispensations? There were times where certain truths were released to the world. Up until Jesus came, all of the followers of God and the prophets didn't really see and understand that the Gentiles would be saved, that we would come into the fold, right? Paul's the one that had the revelation. And the other disciples were upset. Why are you preaching to the Greeks? Why are you preaching to the Romans? And then the Greeks and the Romans were getting filled with the Spirit, speaking in tongues. And then they said, Well, you could you baptize them? I guess you got to baptize them. I guess God's accepting them too. This was a truth that was not revealed until it was in God's timing. Amen. So there are timings that God has set up where certain demonic powers would be allowed to manifest and come into the world and come into our space, the world as we know it. Amen. So he says that the Spirit is speaking very specifically about an event that will take place, that these half-human, half-divine beings, these diamonds, they call them, these interdimensional beings that are messengers between the worlds will come to the earth with an organized doctrinal system. So what makes this observation here in Timothy so genuinely interesting is the convergence, government meet restrictions, spiritual deception, narratives around the UAPs and alien disclosures, the departure from Orthodox faith, all occurring simultaneously. All of these things are happening at the same exact time, right here in First Timothy, and they're all happening at the same exact time right now, May 2026. They're all happening at the same time, which is what most prophecy scholars say is more significant than any one event alone. If it was just one event, okay, but now we're seeing all three of these things come in the same exact time in world history, all coming together. Let's look at this commanding to abstain from meats. Several real-time fulfillments. Also, Bill Gates is the main proponent of this. The WEF and various other government agencies are actively promoting plant-based diets, telling people to stop eating meats. Some nations have already proposed taxes on meat and uh reducing meat from public institutions. So schools and companies that that serve lunch to stop offering meats and putting high tax on meats. This is happening all over Europe right now, where they're taxing the farmers and trying to shut down the farms and stop the growth of cattle. Environmental policies have been coming out framing meat consumption as immoral and harmful. Isn't that interesting? Now this has been happening for a year that I been seen. Bill Gates is one of the one of the big ones. They're buying farms all across America, stopping the sale of cattle. They're saying that cattle, we have to stop having cattle. We need to kill cattle because their their uh gas when they pass gas fluctuation they said that their fluctuation is causing carbon uh carbon emissions that are creating global warming. So we have to kill cows. They've been saying this for about two years now that I've been seeing just on on the news uh weekly lab grown meat initiatives all over the West right now lab grown meat initiatives are government funded and pushed as the future of our diet so they're saying people were pushing back against not eating beef and so on and and so they so that people are pushing back. So he said well let's let's make lab grown meat and let's get the need something that tastes like meat that's lab made that crazy but what's behind that God says that no resist this he says meat is good and and made by me for you to eat why because there's things in meat that we need for our mental health and our mental uh you know uh acuteness and our in our in our resilience and our strength amen they want to dumb down the public so we become sheepish so we become obedient so we become pliable to their will so when they say everyone has to do this we do it does that make sense government wants to control us that interesting amen the argument is that this represents institutional pressure in the scripture not just personal choice when we're seeing this being taught to abstain from meats that is talking about institutional government pressure this is not talking about somebody doesn't want to eat meat and because whatever they saw a documentary of a calf being killed and you know this is talking about governmental it's it's a commanding language in 1 Timothy do you understand? Secondly doctrines of devils and seducing spirits everything that we've seen here in the Greek this doctrines of devils and seducing spirits this is this is exactly what we're seeing coming through the alien disclosure movement. Now it's funny because I've been following this and preaching on this you know lightly for a couple of years for sever for several years I guess five years now and when I first preached it people in the church got upset and they complained and they just thought I was preaching nonsense. Now it's on the news both Obama and Trump talking about it pastors talking about it pastors talking about it in fear like oh my God I saw these the the the videos one pastor was on I saw them on on uh he uh is it on Fox News or whatever he was like I saw the videos of the entities coming out of a spaceship when the uh you know the first the first uh release of some of the videos and I saw these entities that were coming off of the vehicles and he said and I was shoken to my bones you know this pastor say isn't that interesting this alien disclosure movement I believe is exactly what we see here by the definition the verbiage of what the Bible says in 1 Timothy about the seducing spirits these intermediate otherworldly beings coming to the earth with their own doctrine these as these entities are being disclosed as non-human intelligence they begin to influence human belief systems and moral framework because the doctrine that they carry and we're gonna hear more about this here in the next several months and probably not even years the next several months is what are they saying? What's their message? That's what everybody wants to know okay all right we see them they're here are they good guys are they bad guys do they want to kill us and what's their message that's what people really want to know about these guys right why are they here are they gonna kill us and you know did God create them are they from another planet like you know all the basic questions that you would have right so these entities these not these are being disclosed these non-human intelligence will begin to influence humans' beliefs and moral framework now I've been saying for years what their message is because I have studied uh the body of work of a former CIA agent named um what was his name Chuck Missler former CIA government leader Chuck Missler who was a born again and wonderful minister and great Bible teacher he he went and exposed everything that the the CIA had that was unredacted uh about these entities and all the encounters and experiences that people had and so he wrote a book on it and I and I preached on that book and he said that the message that every inter every one of these intermediate beings from another world given people their main message was and this is the same thing that they said to Alistair Crowley and Charlotte McLean who big occultist sex magic people that practice uh the the the murder and the rape of children and and satanic magic these were their spirit guides and they taught them the same things the other abductees were taught and what they tell them is that we are your parents we they the word they use is terra farmed we terra farmed the earth we came here billions of years ago and we planted seeds and that gave birth to you and we are the creators of your planet and we are from this planet I I preached about it in detail I don't have my notes on me but I forgot the name of the planet Pallades. They're from the planet Pallades and that they are our creators and so forth. So this is what they've been saying for for for 40 50 years now and we're gonna see this this information come more public now. I I know about it because it's in the it's in the document records that have been recorded over the last uh 60 years and I've read excerpts from the book from Sherlin McLean and Alexa Crowley and so I've read some of their some of their teachings but this is going to become normal doctrine this is the curriculum that we are terraformed by these entities so they will influence our belief system and moral frameworks. The spiritual framework promoted by these entities are the seducing spirits and it says the spirit speaks expressly in the Greek that this specific event will happen that entities from another dimension is in the in the Greek intermediate dimensions not human not divine will come with doctrines with a curriculum with a worldview this represents a deception on massive scale unprecedented scale which will cause what it says here in Timothy a departure from the faith amen now as I said last week some people will still go to church just like they go to the Elk's lodge and the Masonic lodge and the Rotary club and just like they go I was in Mongolia and I preached and miracles happened demons were cast out healings were happening people full of the Holy Spirit and a lady came up to me from Mongolia old late old old lady in her 70s and she said I've been coming to this church for 30 years she's like but today I believe Jesus is real and I'm I want to be saved. I said you've been coming here for 30 years she said yes and I said do the pastors know that you're not a Christian she's like no I just I come I have nothing to do she's like I'm just you know an old lady and I'm bored I have nothing to do I come here and hang out with the nice people and we eat and we study Bible and I just thought it was nonsense. I just sat there for all the Bible studies for 30 years 30 years in church not even believing what is preached until she saw the power of God that's why we have to have the power of God we don't know how many people are going to church just for social reasons. I mean you were going to church right you you shared in your testimony on Friday back in uh San Antonio or whatever whatever corpus christi she's just going you know like they didn't know what's going on just just going to church for social reasons see your friends there some good music you know you know so there will be still be people who go to the church but they're not born again they're going for social reasons because it's it's it's it's it's a cool thing it's a pop culture thing it's a social thing amen but they're have departed from their faith the people that accept an extraterrestrial explanation for human origins or morality it will directly undermine creation theology it will undermine the uniqueness of Christ's incarnation and it will undermine biblical cosmology in general amen what else does the apostle paul warn us about the hour that we live in let's look at 2 Timothy 3 2 Timothy 3 verse 1 through 5 amen when you get there say amen it says in 2 Timothy 3 1 through 5 this know also that in the last days which now is the hour that we live in so the time that we live in now perilous times shall it be perilous times men shall be lovers of their own selves covetous boasters proud blasphemers now we see it nothing for people to blaspheme God when I was growing up in the 80s and 90s people wouldn't dare blaspheme God they meant like I don't go to church that's not for me and but now they just blaspheme God zero conscience no shame disobedient to parents I'm not that old I'm only 46 my generation and I know I'm in I'm in this in-between generation I'm born in 79 so I'm like you know I'm in between the generation but my generation you did not act or look like you're talking back to your parents if you talk back to your parents you got slapped upside the head so hard that your head spun my mom would slap the snot out of me if I just hinted at being disrespectful. Nowadays kids will give you the middle finger at nine years old when you're trying to park in your own driveway we didn't do that growing up growing up and I was growing up in the streets I would grew up in the hood in the streets with gang members and 13 14 15 year old gang members in the street selling crack shooting at people when the neighbors came out and yelled we said oh I'm sorry my bad you know just move and we just walked down the street because it was just in us to obey elders obey the the authorities right and now it says that in this time they will be disobedient to parents I don't think that this just means that uh they don't take out the trash when their parents tell them to take out the trash I think this is talking about an overall rejection of authority amen unthankful they this is this is the time that we're living in unthankful the the the society the secular science the sociologists they call it entitlement they said this generation is entitled but it's the the the the scripture uses the word unthankful unholy without natural affections without natural affections day after day we're seeing on the news here in Houston husbands shooting their wife and their children in their bed normal guys another guy in Texas killed and murdered his wife and fled to cut off his ankle bracelet and fled to Italy this is I think this was also Houston then we see about this wife that kills her husband and then writes a book on grief how how to help the children go through grief and she's the one that killed her husband this is on the news literally every single day. Every night I watch a little what is it a CBS or ABC David and Daniel Moore or Moore David Moore whatever I watch him every night you know because he does a little quick recap of what's going on in the nation every night there's a a a a a father that shoots his child or a child that shoots his mother or every night you're not even seeing the basic natural affections that interesting without natural affections a society of psychopaths or sociopaths is it psychopath or sociopaths which is the one that have no emotion oh both oh society of sociopaths and psychopaths we watched one guy he shot his mother and his father and his brother for a million dollars insurance policy killed his whole family in Sugarland and he convinced six different people to help him so he had two coworkers he said listen I'll split the million dollars with you guys we'll get 250 each I want you to drive I want you to shoot him in I'm gonna go to dinner with them I'm gonna take them out and treat them for dinner and then when we come in from the dinner when you hear the door open I want you to shoot them my dad's gun is over here. So he he he he got the first two people to help him and when they tried to open the window the alarm went off in the house so they got afraid and they ran off and they backed out so then he got another two people and those two people were going to do it and then they just backed out but none of them told the police anything then he finally he got a he was working at the Sweetwater country club the golf club in Sugarland he was you know caddying you know being a caddy for the golfers he convinced two of the other guys doing caddy with him hey listen uh because the last four failed so they convinced these two to do it he convinced six people in Sugarland white adult young adult good home people to murder his mother his brother and his father for a quarter million dollars yeah and he was a Christian yeah they were big time Christian involved in the the big church whatever at Methodist church and he was in uh Sugarland serious very serious Christians yeah how could he convince like I don't I don't know if I could convince anyone to go and murder somebody but I guess you can he convinced six people right here in Sugarland to go and kill his family members unfortunately or fortunately I should say the father survived the father was shot he lived the mother died the brother died and and then he was finally convicted and he had no remorse the whole trial the whole thing he had no remorse he wasn't crying didn't feel bad where after he killed him uh the the cops kind of realized it was him and then they uh one of one one of the one of the girls came forward that he hired before to to help kill him and she came forward when she was asked and said yeah he tried but then we backed out but you know so somehow they found the guys that did it and they're like yeah he promised us quarter million dollars and you know we're just you know it was we wanted the money you know so we agreed to do it and so he fled he went to Mexico and he lived in this little village in Mexico and he told them he was an Afghanistan war hero from you know from the US military and he he just made up this whole story when he was in Mexico and he was living in the town the gringo the one gringo in the town and and people really looked up to him because he was a war hero and he told them the story about how he was in combat and and all these things happened and how this he got surrounded by the Afghanis and they killed off his platoon and he shot down all the enemies and saved everyone so he was a little he was a hero like he was like Rambo or something to the people that were in this Mexico town. And then a couple weeks later the feds come down grabbed him and and told the people this guy is not who he says he is you know not regretting at all no natural affection finally they came down to the death penalty they were in court coming down with what he should be convicted for should he get the death penalty and at that point he started crying and he says oh well I've and then the the and the the prosecutors like why are you crying he's like oh because I feel bad about what I did because you haven't felt bad the entire trial now that we're deciding whether to get the death penalty now you're crying we were shocked as we watch this documentary at the lack of natural affection how could somebody kill their own child I can understand the wife I can understand the husband killing the wife or the wife killing the husband big fight they lose their temper whatever you know but to kill your child this guy that owns this restaurant here is called Traveler's Cart this famous restaurant they have two famous restaurants Guy Fury the the famous chef was there this year at their restaurant doing a TV show with them killed this pregnant wife and two children in their bed about six seven years old beautiful little children she was vietnamese he's a white American educated went to top universities he was you know these are smart educated people we're losing natural affection it's it's the big thing and I'm talking about like you know educated smart well to do wealthy people they lived in River Oaks at a $1.5 million dollar home of River Oaks this and this just happened like two 10 days ago and I'm talking about these educated wealthy white people but this is happening every day in the Mexican neighborhoods and in the black neighborhoods every day there's shootings marquise who's our son's uh piano player teacher he worked at the morgue and he said doc every day there's six seven bodies a day coming in in in the in the in the fifth ward every day four or five bodies five six bodies every single day dead bodies mostly young guys shot every single day he would send me pictures of the dead bodies yeah he sent me pictures of them all on the slabs you know and they're they're embalming them putting makeup on them and stuff and I said we know this is a good job for you because it it helped keep it in real in his mind if you live that street life this is where you end up you know daily this dead bodies coming in the fifth ward but you barely see anything about it on the news every day people are being shot right here 20 minutes away, 20 minutes east. They're being shot every day in the black neighborhood, Spanish neighborhoods. When I was growing up, if you had a beef with somebody, you fought them with your fists. Now they just shoot you. Famous rapper was killed last year here in Houston. He was here for a concert, Migas. I think the group was Migas, the Migos, Migos. They were having a dice game or something like that, and they got an argument, and the guy shot and killed the famous rapper from Migos. When I was growing up, you got beat up, punched, jumped. Nowadays, people have no natural affection. They're sociopaths. They'll shoot you if you cut them off, if you take their parking spot. This is the time that we are in that Paul talked about. Amen. Truce breakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those who are good. That's another one we see. Despises of those who are good, traitors, heady, high-minded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God, having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof, from such turn away. For of this sort are they which creep into houses and lead captive silly women laden with sins, led away with diverse lust, ever learning, and never able to come to the knowledge of the truth. Now as Janus and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth. Men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith, reprobate mind concerning the faith. But they shall proceed no further, for their folly shall be made manifest to all men as theirs also was. Janice and Jambries. First, let's take a look at this word. I'm gonna go through every one of these, so we're not gonna be able to do it all today, but let's look at the first one: perilous times. Kiroi Kalipui. Kalipui is used twice in the New Testament. Now, here's what's interesting: the other time that this word Koilipoi was used was in Matthew 8:28, describing the garderine demoniacs. You remember that guardian demoniac when Jesus came and this demoniac guy came up to Jesus and he was cutting himself and he was naked and he was in the tombs and Jesus cast the demons out of him and they went into the pigs. You remember that? That's the only other time in the scripture where we see this word Kalipoi, this perilous times. It was this perilous time, this exceeding fierce demoniac. So Khalipoi doesn't just mean a difficult time, it means a savage, dangerous time that the word society is demonically charged. Right against left, white against black, political, racial, spiritual, it's demonically charged. This is the time. He said, in the last hour, it will be demonically charged. The word perilous time just is like, I don't know. Sometimes I like the King James, but sometimes it just sounds like a just beautiful poet, poetically perilous times, like a great book, a novel. It was perilous times. It was the best of times, and it was the worst of times. Like it just sounds poetic, right? But what it literally means was that in this hour that when it'll be demonically charged. And unfortunately, this demonic charge is leaving a lot of us with anxiety. We're watching news and we're watching podcasts, and we wonder why we're biting our nails and we're nervous and we're on edge, you know. It's like, you know, because this is this is the atmosphere. Paul is simply saying that it'll be the same spiritual ferocity as that demoniac. Amen. That is this hour that we're in. So we have to, as Christians, we have to learn how to unplug from that, disconnect, disassociate, which is hard to do because it's an addiction. It's it's an addiction, especially those of you that are on social media. Uh, it is an addiction. When you see the little red icon on your Facebook or Instagram or whatever, you see there's a notification. It's like a drug. You want to click that notification and just clear it out and see what's there. And you know, it's like, you know, the news, the debates, the fighting, the the left and the right, the podcast, the the the the is he building the ballroom or not building the ballroom? Is Erica Kirk the devil or does she kill her husband? Like, you know, all of this is so addicting and charging, and just you know, and it's it's really charged demonically. And so we have to be able to disconnect, unplug. We have to be able to go back to the time where we could just, you know, some I've somebody wrote a book recently about uh the about the importance of being bored. He wrote a book about the importance of being bored. There was a time where you could just sit there bored, no phone, no TV, no podcast, no news going, and you could just think. This is why the great spiritual leaders and the fathers, and even the monks and the temple, the Christian monks and you know in the church, how they wrote great theological works is because they had time to think. Now we're wired not to think, we're wired to digest. Digest what's the spirit of the age is saying digest, digest, digest, digest. And they're fighting for our attention, and it's we're addicted by the scroll. It's we have to detach, amen. We have to detach somehow. We have to detach. Now, of course, you know, if you're in business and you're using social media for your for your work, it's a little bit more of a challenge, you know. But somebody like uh you know, Asher or you know, whatever, uh Jade, even you know, maybe Christina, but you know, you have the luxury to not have to be on social media, right? I have this struggle, I have to, you know, I get customers that way, you know. So it's it's it's a struggle, but in that struggle, it's a losing battle. I gotta have the news on all the time. I hear this person, that person, and you know, and it creates anxiety. It creates anxiety and takes away our peace. So we have to struggle against that, amen. Let's go to one more lovers of their own selves. This is the word filios autos. Autos means yourself, lovers of themselves, filios autos. This is a self-love as governing policy, what we call radical individualism, the entire self-help, self-accuse, actualization, live your truth fits precisely here. You do you. That's what we say. I I love the fact that my wife, coming from a traditional culture, she has this understanding. I have to do what I have to do for the family, I have to sacrifice for the children, I have to sacrifice for, you know, she she comes from uh that that that culture where they still have some of that, but it's quickly going away. It's quickly going away. When I I I saw a transition even when I was in China, from kids being pure, innocent, 17-year-old boys saying, I don't know if I could date, I have to ask my father. It was like that in the early 2010, 11, 12, and then it transitioned the last half of the decade. And kids were all dating, and there's LGBT stuff, and you know, it just took a while to hit China, it was here, but it took a while to hit China because China had blocked all of the social media and all the media and all the movies from the West, and so all that stuff was blocked for a while. But as it began to come into China, the youth begin to change. Amen. Live your own truth. Interestingly, this heads the list, the list of the what it's gonna be like and the time that we're in, this heads the list, suggesting self-worship is the root of all the other ones. Self-worship is the root of all the other ones. Oh, you you're you're you're not in the right slide. Move down, you're too behind me. Go up top. Here we go. Self-lovers, radical individualism, live your own truth. Out of this, all the other ones come out of it. All the other ones come out of this. Boasters without natural affection, fears, covetousness, proud, false accuser, despised of good. All this comes out of being self-lovers. Amen. Covetousness. This literally means lovers in the Greek is phila is phylloguroy. It means lovers of silver. So it's not just greed, but an intimate love affair with money and materials. This describes a culture where net worth equals your personal worth. Where net worth equals your personal worth. Society has become so covetous that there's a phenomenon I read about 10, 20 years ago, 15 years ago, in Hong Kong, where women, teenage girls, 14, 15 years old, 16 years old, who come from wealthy families and are rich, but because they don't have the cash or the money to buy Louis and Prada, because their parents don't give money for that, that 14, 15-year-old girls were prostituting themselves to wealthy businessmen, high school girls, to wealthy businessmen so they could have the Gucci and the Prada and the LV. From good families with money, but they want to have the they want to have the the bling, the flash, levers of silver. Where does that come from? It comes from the boasters. We're in the age of boasting. He says, in the last time there shall be boasters. This refers to somebody who makes themselves out to be more than they are. We live in a society now where we see the highlight reels of everybody's life. We don't see the struggle, we don't see the debt, we don't see the all we see is the highlights, the vacations they went on, the meals that they ate, the steaks that they ate. We don't see them scrambling trying to pay the credit card or whatever, you know. We we live in the highlight reel section of Instagram. Amen. In the Greek, it's an a liaison. In Greek culture, it was a con man or a braggart, somebody performing a false identity. This is social media culture, curated personas, influencer culture, personal branding. This is this is the definition of our society right now. And so now people want to portray this, and and people have the pressure to try and portray this. And so now we have a generation of young women, they want a man that take them out and spend money on this and spend money on that, and you know, we were at the bojangles the other day, six dollars a meal, and we saw two couples there dating at bojangles, and I said, This is that's love. Amen. When you could take your lover to Costco and get a pizza for $9, or Bojangles, get a $6 meal, and that's true love. Because now what most of these women want is they expect the guy to take them out for a $400 dinner because they're seeing that on Instagram, and there's and there is creating false expectations, and that is treasured more than somebody saying, No, I'm gonna go to Bojangles and put $397 in my savings account or in the stock market. It's more about how much you could waste, spend, and and throw away than what you could save and invest in. They want to see, they want to see the bragging, see the influencer, the branding. This is exactly where this comes from. This this creates the covetousness, and it all comes from being lovers of themselves. This defines the society that we live in, and like a cancer, it's come from the West and it's spread all over the world. We imported. I remember I was in France, Paris, France, in 2005, and I was uh there in this area, it was all Arab and Muslim in France, and I remember there were some kids that that I talked to and they're like, Where are you from? They could tell I was not from there. And I said, I'm from America, and they're like, Oh yeah, West Side, West Side, yeah, man, yeah, man, it's just slapped me high five, and they were like, Man, I love Tupac, man, I love Tupac. And I thought, like, out of everything that America could be known for, all the things that we could be proud of, that what we're known for is Tupac and the and the West Side. You know, the music about drugs and violence, and shoot them up and kill them, and and and and Brenda's got a baby, and you know, like, you know, that's what we're known for. This, I was grieved in my spirit that this is what we're importing. Then we went to the Netherlands and we were evangelizing the prostitutes working in the red light district in the Netherlands, and every single strip club that me and my team walked past, it was 50 cent plane, the candy shop. I take it to the candy shop. So you what I got. And we America was fueling the gangster image, the violence, the prostitution, all of this stuff was being fueled out of America. Amen. Isn't that interesting? The country that once was known for sending missionaries around the world is now selling social media, lust, perversion, uh a life of blowing money. Amen. This is the time that Paul said, This will be the signs of the last hour. Amen. Amen. Next week we're gonna talk about pride, blasphemy, disobedient to parents, unthankfulness, unholy. We're gonna go over these things, but all of these things are signs of the time that we live in, amen. Amen. This is what God said about the hour we live in. So, how do we become counterculture? How do we offer something different? You know, this is the generation they say now for the first time in America that people want authenticity. Because they've been fed the fake, they've been fed the social media, they've been fed the phony, and now people want authenticity. Now they said if you want a video to go viral, don't produce it perfectly with good graphics and you know everything like that. They said videos that go viral are now more organic, where you can tell you self-film them, you know, because people are wanting authenticity. Because when you've been living in this Truman show for long enough, you begin to crave something that is real. And this is where we have the opportunity to share genuine faith, genuine grace, genuine salvation, genuine model of who Christ is. That we're not perfect, amen. That only Jesus is perfect. We don't I don't want to be like any preacher. There was back at the time of the 90s where everyone wanted to be like the preacher. And when I went to Bible college, everyone dressed like Pastor Parsley, they cut their hair like Pastor Parsley. He even sold his suits once a year at a garage sale, and we would all try and save money to buy his suits so we could wear his suits. There was a time where everybody wanted to be like Benny Hinn and Rod Parsley and Bill Winston, and everybody wanted to be like this pastor and that pastor. Amen. But now we've come to the point where we realize I don't want to be like any pastor, all these pastors have faults. My thing is I need to be like Jesus, and we needed to be encouraged the church that we need to be like Jesus, amen. Not like any any any pastor or social media influencer, amen. Amen. Paul said, We need to train people to have godliness with contentment. He says in Timothy that they had thought that gain, gain, financial gain was godliness. And he says, But what we need is godliness with contentment. Amen. Being content for what we have, amen. Hallelujah. He says, Many have erred going after money. He says, Many pastors have aired going after money, and we've seen that in in the last 20, 30 years. Many pastors have erred, making their sermons all about money and getting people to focus on money, focus on their blessing, focusing on their prosperity, focus on their increase, and created what's called prosperity gospel because we taught that that gain was godliness. But what about gaining character? What about gaining peace of mind? There was a man named uh Ulf Ekman, he was a famous uh charismatic church leader, had churches all over Russia, and he really was overwhelmed with all the divisions in the church, the fighting for uh people trying to take over the church, trying to become the pastor, trying to steal his members, trying to steal his congregations, and because he had churches all over. And he was so fed up with it, and he met a priest in Jerusalem, a Catholic priest in Jerusalem, that had no cell phone, no social media. He was just a just a contemplative, a man that served God, prayed, and was just spent his life with the Lord. And Alfechman was so impressed with this man that he began to be mentored by him. And he he he he resigned from his church and he moved with his wife to Jerusalem and he became a Catholic. Because what he was looking for was just godliness with contentment, not have the next greatest mega church and have the biggest ministry and have the great, you know, the the the the charismatic world and the church world, the evangelical world, has made being a megachurch a celebrity pastor and having lots of money and being successful, they have made that godliness. When godliness is actually peace and control of your spirit and growing in grace and knowing Christ and his power and hit the cross. Amen. These are the virtues that we're gonna need. To embrace as society gets demonically charged with anxiety, with fear, with fight, with with debate, with contention, with division, with prosperity, with you gotta have more, big more, and have more and and show more and and live more. Amen. We need to be authentic and centered in Christ in this last hour. Amen. And we need to have discernment. And we need to know the word of God well. Because when people come to us saying, I saw it on the news. We've there's the aliens. Where what does God say about aliens? Oh, let me show you exactly what God said about aliens. In the last hour, entities will come and will bring doctrines, a curriculum to belief. That's what these are. The origin story of aliens comes from Mount Herman, where Jesus said, This is where it's all began, and this is where it's all gonna end. Amen. Let us stand to our feet. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Father, our society is so charged with narratives, with social media, with lust, with greed. It's created sociopaths and psychopaths. People that would cheat, lie, steal, break their truces, kill in order to look good. Rather than lose their reputation, they'd rather slaughter their family and kill themselves. We have come in this hour to the very place that Paul has prophesied about. How can we be a light in this hour? How can we unplug from the spirit of the age? How can we, Father God, function properly, be prosperous and successful in what we do, have more than enough, God, for our families and for the kingdom, but also not get caught into the lust of other things, not get caught into the spirit of the age, the demonically charged age? How can we be uh a respite, a refreshing, a blessing for those that are caught up in that? How can this church be a place where people could come in out of this climate and find refreshing, find escape, find contentment, find encounter with God? Hallelujah! How can we be, Father God, a place that's founded strongly in the word of God and scripture, fortified against the deception of the doctrines of devils? Father, even great pastors that are influential in this country and nation will fall and tremble in their faith in regards to these doctrines of devils and disclosures of these entities, these intermediate beings, but how can we point people to the light? Point people to truth, how can we help those who are conscious have been seared with the hot iron that have become boastful and proud and god haters and lovers of themselves? How can we bring conviction to break through the searing of their conscience to bring them to the encounter of the of the power of the cross of Jesus Christ? Give us great boldness and great power and great demonstration, God. As Paul said, my speech and preaching is not with the persuasive words of man's wisdom, but in the power and the demonstration of the Spirit. Give us demonstration, give us, Father God, the power of healing, the power of the prophetic, the power of the Holy Ghost fire, hallelujah, to minister and to call people out of their seared conscience and reprobate mind into a God encounter and a salvation encounter. Father, we ask you to do these things through us, do these things through us, do these things through our church, and we give you the glory, Father God. Help us to be not like these things listed. These are the spirits of the age, these are the tendencies of the spirit of the age. Help us, Father God, to detach from these things, be separate from those things, and grasp onto that which is pure, holy, worthy of praise, that which is glorious in you, and the treasures that we find in Christ. You know, repentance means to turn away from your way of doing things and to turn to God's way. We've done things our own way. Like they used to say in Alcoholics Notamus and Narcotics Anonymous. When I did the 12 steps, they said, your best decisions and your best ways of thinking and your best ways of handle life have gotten you to this situation. And now it's time to trust a higher power. Well, there is no higher power than the God of all the earth. His name is Jehovah. And he sent his son Jesus to die for you. And through him, you can turn from your way of doing things to his way. And his way is the right way because he made you. He made you for a purpose, and he knows exactly what you need to pull out your potential to forgive you of your sins, deliver you from the things that keep you away from God in a sin and death cycle. And if you'd open up your heart to him right now, together with me, God can begin a new work in your life. So just pray with me wherever you're at, whether you're driving your car, whether you're at home, wherever you are, just pray with me and repeat after me, say, Father, I come to you now. In the name of Jesus. I ask you to forgive me. Forgive me of my sins. Wash me in the blood of Jesus. I believe that your son died for my sins. And on the third day, he was raised from the dead. From this day forward, I belong to you. In Jesus' name, amen.
